Duties

Statistical Office in Kielce acts on the basis of:

• The Law on Official Statistics, dated 29 June 1995 (Journal of Laws 2012, item 591 with later amendments),
• The Law on Civil Service, dated 21 November 2008 (Journal of Laws 227, item 1505 with later amendments),
• The Ordinance No. 6 of the President of Central Statistical Office dated 21 March 2012 concerning granting Statute for Statistical Office in Kielce (CSO Official Journal, dated 27 March 2012, item 16),
• Organizational Regulations of Statistical Office in Kielce introduced by the internal ordinance of the Director of the Office.

Action area

Statistical Office in Kielce acts  on the area of Świętokrzyskie voivodship within the scope of:

• official registers (REGON and TERYT) service,
• conducting the Censuses as well as surveys with wide range of observations,
• making available and disseminating the statistical information,
• popularization and promotion of statistics as well as promoting the knowledge about statistics,
• co-operation with government and local self-government institutions,

The Office specializes in the implementation of national tasks done for Official Statistics as a whole in the areas of:

1. Non-observed economy:

• in registered economic entities, within the scope of revenue, wages and salaries, gross output, intermediate consumption and gross value added estimation;
• illegal activity and estimation of its size.

2. Trade and services statistics within the scope of domestic trade, catering, international trade of services, assessment of enterprises providing services connected with economic activity and demand for services

Duties:

• dissemination by telephone, correspondence and personally: •statistical data from publications of CSO and SO official statements of CSO and SO
• informing about new publications of CSO and SO, publications accessible in Office`s Library, publications accessible on sale 
• receiving orders for unpublished statistical data from SO data bases, realization of statistical description on the base of information published by CSO and SO

REGON service

Issues related to the official national register of economic entities are carried in the Company headquarters in Kielce (room 1) and in the branch Sandomierz.  More>>>

Information on entities registered in the province Świętokrzyskie, contained in the Company register may be made ​​available to all interested parties upon written request. Information on paid and unpaid basis to share data are located on the side of the CSO: Rules for providing access to data from the REGON register.
